LEAVING BLOGGER as of 26.9.2020

Horses..Waders.. and a jellyfish.

I haven't posted for a while as gardening duties have kept me very busy during the recent fine weather.I did however find time to visit the coast near Southport to see if any more waders had arrived.More waders had arrived and it was lovely to see the sanderlings scurrying around the beach as the tide came in.Also present were reasonable numbers of knot and bar tailed godwits and the odd grey plover. The best birds present was a flock of around sixty sandwich terns roosting on the beach.A number of horses were also exercising on the beach enjoying getting their feet wet.I have also shown a jellyfish washed up in recent storms.Not sure of the name of the jellyfish but probably a common variety.
